Japan Sake Adventure

From Field to Cup and all Places Between

Sake PLUS Adventure

When you come to Shikoku you are actually visiting a region of four separate prefectures. Each prefecture has its own character, unique places to visit, food and style that has its own regional character, and sake that is different in nuance as well.

The island of Shikoku has running through it a pilgrimage of Buddhist temples that runs like a ring through all four prefectures. While you are here to experience sake and food, you may wish to take some time to walk on the trail, visit a few temples, see the local art, try some local crafts, listen to the music, try traditional dances, or enjoy the natural surroundings at your own leisure. Many people find that their first trip to Shikoku turns out to be the first of many, and they return again and again to explore and discover the whole of the island. Truly, there is much to see.

To provide you with as much visual material as possible, there are links throughout this page to various temples, nature hikes and experiences, videos, and other websites. Please take some time to look at the huge variety of things to do and see while you are in Shikoku for your Sake Adventure!
